Ένα άρθρο, που αν και σχετικά παλιό, έχει ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον. Είναι από λίστα του OpenBSD, και συγκρίνει τα +/- του SELinux έναντι της “built-in” ασφάλειας του OpenBSD.

Αν και linuxας, προτιμώ το OpenBSD, κυρίως γιατί είναι secure out-of-the-box, αλλά και πιο ώριμο απ’ το SELinux.

Dell Inspiron w/ FreeBSD

I received today a pretty old laptop, that’s isn’t useless anyway. Powered by a pII-mmx cpu at 400mhz, with 64mb ram, pcmcia lan if and pcmcia wlan if, i managed to do a minimal install of FreeBSD 6.2 plus Xorg. I hope that it won’t die when i am going to compile xfce4. I hope…
