When I was about to choose between iPhone and an HTC Hero, I was pretty muched appealed by android’s integration with social services, such as Facebook. For example, when you created a contact, you could assign a Facebook friend to this contact, and when you viewed the contact later on, you could also see his updates, latest pic, etc.
I finally went on with iPhone, and I missed this integration; up until now. Browsing the AppStore, I found “feX”. This app let’s you assign Facebook friends to contacts, and updates contacts with profile pics, birthdays and location.
It’s a very nice app.

I am using banshee 1.4.3 and have an iPod classic 6th gen 160gb.
I have about 18k songs, and half of them are greek.
Ok now the SERIOUS problem:
I tried to use banshee with my ipod. It didn’t see all my songs; only those that were in a playlist.
Immediately after disconnecting my ipod I saw that banshee had deleted all playlists that werent created by itunes (even those that were otg playlists and that were afterwards edited with itunes, were deleted).
Now I’ve seen that all my tracks that had empty tags, now have a ‘MPEG audio file’ tag, and ALL my greek songs (9k) have empty tags.
WTF?!!?!?!
Ok I suppose that this damned thing has destroyed my iTunesDB, but is there still any chance I can recover it?
Has this thing happened to anyone else?
My guess is that banshee changed iTunesDB encoding, so I ‘ll try to mess with it (after backing up what’s left).
I was in search for a suction mount for my camera, and I decided to buy the SM1. The whole setup is very stable and robust, and the suction cup grips firmly to almost any surface I want it to (glass, metal, plastic, etc). Nevertheless, it’s completely modular, and you can achive unlimited POVs.

1) Go to your phone. Menu -> Settings -> Sync -> PC Suite (or w/ever profile you intend to use) -> Edit -> Connection settings -> Server version -> set it to 1.1 (default is 1.2)
2) In gentoo, you also need libopensync-plugin-vformat.
